FAQs

What's the difference between the No-Pull™ gas trimmers and the cordless MX24V trimmers?

The No-Pull gas trimmers (NPTGSP2617A, NPTGCP2517B) run on gas but use a battery-assisted start, so you get gas-like power without pulling a cord to start the engine, good for up to 150 to 250 starts per charge. The cordless MX24V trimmers (CLGT2412S, CLGT2410S) run entirely on battery power, with no gas or oil involved at all.

What does "No-Pull™" mean exactly?

It refers to how the engine starts. Instead of pulling a recoil cord like a traditional gas trimmer, these models use a battery to start the gas engine, combining gas power with a more convenient, cordless-style start.

Can these trimmers also edge, or do I need a separate edger?

The MX24V cordless trimmers (CLGT2412S, CLGT2410S) are 2-in-1 tools that transition to edging with a pivoting head and rotating shaft, so you don't need a separate edger for those models.

Which trimmer is better for tight spaces around flower beds?

The CLGT2412S includes a retractable guard designed to prevent accidental trimming of plants, flowers, and landscape features, making it a good fit for working carefully around garden beds.

What's included in the OcuMow™ + Trimmer Combo Kit?

The VBRMGT601YCM2 bundles the OcuMow™ 200 Series robot mower with a 10-inch MX24V trimmer, so you get automated mowing and manual edge trimming in one kit.
