FAQs

What's the difference between the 200, 300, and 400 Series OcuMow mowers?

The 200 Series (VBRM601YCM) covers about 1,000 sq ft with up to 3 hours of runtime. The 300 Series (VBRM601YCM MAX) steps up to 2,000 sq ft and 4 hours of runtime. The 400 Series (VBRM601YCM AD) covers the most ground at 2,600 sq ft with up to 6 hours of runtime and adds edge-cutting, parallel-line mowing. Note: model numbers ending in MAX or AD accommodate an 8Ah battery instead of a 4Ah battery.

Do I need to bury a wire to set up boundaries for these robot mowers?

No. OcuMow™ uses optical navigation to stay within your yard's existing raised boundaries. If your yard doesn't have raised boundaries, included magnetic strips and peg hooks can be used to create a virtual boundary.

How much yard can each robot mower cover on a single charge?

Coverage ranges from about 1,000 sq ft on the 200 Series up to 2,600 sq ft on the 400 Series, with the R1600 and R1600-Plus models covering around 1,600 sq ft each.

What is Drop-N-Mow?

Drop-N-Mow refers to a simplified setup process letting you place the mower down and get started mowing more quickly than a full manual boundary-mapping setup.
